Volitare Studios — Privacy Policy
1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all websites, mobile applications, games, and online services operated by Volitare Studios LLC (“Volitare”, “we”, “us”), including volitarestudios.com and our products (collectively, the “Services”). Some Services have additional product-specific details. Where a Service Annex conflicts with this master policy, the Annex controls for that product.
2) Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on the Service you use:
- Account & Profile. Email, display name, avatar/region, and account preferences.
- Usage & Diagnostics. App/session events, device model/OS, app version, crash logs.
- Identifiers. App instance IDs and, on mobile, platform advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) if ad services collect them. We do not collect precise geolocation.
- Purchases. Product IDs, receipts/tokens, subscription status. We do not receive full payment card details; Apple/Google process payments.
- Website Data. IP address, pages viewed, referrers, cookies or similar technologies.
- Support. Content you send to us (emails, reports).
3) How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Services (accounts, cloud features, entitlements, multiplayer).
- Validate purchases/subscriptions and sync entitlements across devices.
- Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, debugging, and crash diagnostics.
- Improve and personalize the Services (aggregate analytics, product decisions).
- Communicate about updates, changes, and support.
4) Ads, Analytics, and Third Parties
We may integrate third-party providers. The specific providers vary by product; see the annexes.
Common providers include:
- Payments: Apple App Store / Google Play (processing of purchases/subscriptions).
- Ads (where applicable): Google AdMob (rewarded ads).
- Backend/Hosting: Supabase (managed Postgres + storage with Row Level Security).
- Crash/Analytics (if used): e.g., Sentry.

5) Children
The Services are intended for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
6) Data Retention
We retain account and operational records while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup, security, and legal compliance. Purchase/financial records may be retained as required by platform policies and applicable law.
7) Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we process (encryption in transit, access controls, RLS in our databases). No system is perfectly secure.
8) Your Choices
- Account settings: Review/update certain profile details in the relevant Service.
- Account deletion: Where offered, you can delete your account in-app or by contacting us. Deletion removes profile and gameplay records and de-links entitlements; some records (e.g., purchase logs or fraud logs) may be retained as required by law or platforms.
- Ads: Reset or limit advertising identifiers in device settings; on iOS you can disable tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Notifications: Control via device settings.
9) Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
We process personal data based on: contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement), consent (where required, e.g., tracking), and legal obligations (tax/compliance).
10) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to certain processing. California residents may request access/deletion and opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” of personal information (we do not sell personal information). 11) International Transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
12) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app or on our website). The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.

Annex A — RetroLumo
Product: RetroLumo (virtual console for original cartridge games)
Additional Data We Collect (beyond master categories)
- Entitlements & Subscriptions. Email/account linkage to purchase receipts/tokens and subscription status for cross-platform sync.
- Gameplay Metrics. Cartridges launched, session length, progress needed for cloud saves.
Ads & Choices
- We use Google AdMob for rewarded ads to earn in-game coins.
- We strive to serve non-personalized ads by default; ad availability and frequency caps may vary.
- You can reset your advertising identifier in device settings.
Purchases & Subscriptions
- Purchases are processed by Apple/Google; we receive receipts/tokens to deliver entitlements.
- Supporter Pass: 1-month auto-renewing subscription (price may vary by region). Manage/cancel in platform settings.
- Consumables (Gems): Not restorable and not refundable once delivered (subject to platform policies).
Account Deletion
In-app deletion removes your RetroLumo profile and gameplay records and de-links entitlements from your account. Certain purchase logs may be retained as required by Apple/Google or law.
